How to become a 40 Under 40 honoree (2024)

Happy Friday, LinkedIn community. Forty young professionals across the Sacramento region have another reason to celebrate this weekend.

This week, we revealed our 40 Under 40 honorees for 2023. These outstanding young professionals represent organizations such as Sutter Health , Tankersley Construction , GRID Alternatives , CASA Sacramento and Valley Vision .

Meet all this year's honorees with the links below.

These young professions were selected by a panel of previous honorees and our editorial staff.

We'll start taking nominations for next year's 40 Under 40 awards in June. It's always one of our most popular awards programs.

Wondering how to make the cut? Here are three pieces of advice.

Be as specific as possible. We love numbers and details. Instead of saying you boosted your company's success, tell us how you contributed to year-over-year revenue growth of 80%.

Don't shortchange yourself. Job titles alone don't always showcase someone's contributions to the local business community. Don't assume we know your backstory. If you founded the restaurant where you wait tables, make that clear.

Try, try again. Many 40 Under 40 honorees weren't selected their first time around. If this wasn't your year, we encourage you to try again in 2024.

Now, here are your other local business headlines.
