How do I speak to a live person at Uber? ›

One way to contact Uber is under the 'Help' section in your application, where you'll find info and answers on various rider-related topics. Whether you need to report an issue with your ride, verify a payment problem or change your payment options, you can sort it out there.

By calling 833-USE-UBER (833-873-8237), riders will be put in touch with an Uber representative who will take care of the rest of the booking process. After placing the call, riders will receive a text message with the ride cost, as well as details about the car and driver to expect.

Uber will never call, text, or email you to request your password, verification code, or banking details, so be cautious of anybody contacting you this way and asking for this information. And never add someone else's credit or debit card to your account.

While we don't offer a customer service number for Uber riders, you can log in to your account to get personalized support or explore the resources below to find solutions to issues related to Uber rides.

You can update your preferences or unsubscribe from email, text, and push notifications at accounts.uber.com/communication. You can't unsubscribe from transactional messages, including trip receipts and support responses. These kinds of communications are important for your experience.

When you select the appropriate trip, you will have access to the trip details, trip receipt, and a "Help" section. In the Help section, select the category that aligns with the issue on that specific trip and you'll be able to submit feedback to our 24/7 Customer support team.
